I always had a desire to be self-employed so I began doing poultry farming, processing and selling to the different outlets and hotels.
Then Tropical Storm Thomas happened and I lost most of my business and so I decided to move into another type of business.
I was taught how to make fudge by an older lady and I so I ventured into producing on a wider scale. In October last year I decided to take my business to the local market and began consulting with the St. Lucia Bureau of Standards to ensure that my products met National Standards.
